My Seinfeld Stuff
Sometimes I'm glad I save things...
I’ve always been a collector of things. When I was a little girl it was Breyer horses and Barbies, and as I got older it was vintage jewelry and movie posters.
When I worked on Seinfeld I collected things too. Stacks of scripts were on my desk at the studio, drawers filled with tons of Polaroids, little ivory popcorn buttons, scraps of vintage fabric from Kramer shirts we made. After Season 9, I just plopped it all into a big box and brought it home, tucked it away for 30 years.
Over the years I got busy with kids and life. I had storage spaces because I had so much extra stuff. I moved a few times, had tons of garage sales. Those boxes stayed with me. Big cardboard boxes with SEINFELD written in Sharpie, taped closed for decades.
During quarantine I finally had some time to sit down and go through it all. That’s when I put it all together and started sharing stories and my collection of Seinfeld treasures with all of you!
